NLP&LLM Engineer

What you will do:

• Significantly contribute to one or more technical areas of research in NLP to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.

• Implement both cutting-edge and well-established machine learning methods for content analysis. data retrieval, content classification, and others with a focus on NLP and LLM-related applications.

• Work on the algorithms from the idea stage all through to the deployment on production.

• Interact directly with a client – a multinational e-commerce company (eBay) to report progress and plan new tasks.

• Work with world-class researchers and scientists to develop new machine learning methods and approaches.

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Team-work attitude with great communication skills.

• Experience in research projects with tangible outcomes in the form of products, services, or research publications.

• Software development and coding skills: Python, clean code, code reviews, algorithms and data structures.

• Solid understanding of machine learning and NLP algorithms, neural model architecture, LLMs, training techniques, and building performant inference pipelines to tackle complex problems. Having experience with Multimodal Models is a plus.

• Experience with text processing and adapting Natural Language Processing-based algorithms to the problem at hand.

• Hands-on experience with LLM finetuning, data processing, and advanced prompting techniques.

• Familiarity with externally hosted tools and frameworks (OpenAI and similar).

• A deep understanding of the latest research and tricks surrounding LLMs.

• Fluency in English (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients).

It would be great if you also have:

• Fluency in deep learning/machine learning libraries: scikit-learn, keras, pytorch, tensorflow, etc.

• Leadership/mentoring experience.

• Publication track record in top-tier machine learning/computer vision/natural language processing venues (CVPR, NIPS, ECCV, ICML, ICASSP, ICLR).

• MSc/PhD in computer science, machine learning, signal processing, or related fields.
